Jon founded Rist Associates, Inc. in 2001, with the belief every search assignment should begin with a thorough business analysis behind the hiring need. His high ethical standards coupled with dedication to finding the right candidate set his firm apart in the search and placement industry.

Education and Early Career

Originally from Texas, Jon graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Computer Science. He began his career developing input/output software for operating systems. Jon then went on to become one of the top graduates of the University of Colorado Executive MBA program, furthering his skills while focusing on the business development side of the the high-tech industry. He departed the software industry in 2001, to found Rist Associates, Inc.
